How did we get our start?
My brother and I got started working for our family's hardware store. We expanded online back in 2008 selling other brands' products. Then in 2018, we launched our own brand of products "612 Vermont".
What makes our products unique?
It depends on the product, but we are most known for our window candles that offer brighter lights, more esthetic designs, and in many cases patented lights.
What problem are we solving?
Our focus has been on improving the holiday products you have to choose where there typically has been little to no product evolution over the years.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the brown wire actually blend in with my rustic mantel and twig decor?
Yes — the brown cord is specifically chosen to disappear into grapevine, twig, wreaths, and dark wood surfaces, giving a much cleaner look than standard green wire against farmhouse and rustic styling.
Is the glow soft enough to use as living room ambient lighting, not just Christmas lighting?
Absolutely. The incandescent clear bulbs produce a warm, soft twinkle that customers describe as soothing rather than harsh, and many use these lights year-round on shelves, around plants, and in reading corners.
Can I layer these inside a glass jar or cloche for a holiday centerpiece?
Yes, the 5-foot lighted length and flexible brown wire make these ideal for filling decorative jars, cloches, and lanterns without bulky excess cord piling up at the bottom.
Will the lights look bulky on a small tabletop tree or mini wreath?
No — the mini bulb size is designed for detail-oriented craft and tabletop projects where full-size C7 or C9 bulbs would look oversized and out of scale.
Do these work for draping across the top of a piano or along an antique wardrobe?
Yes, the 1-foot lead from the plug to the first bulb gives you flexibility to position the start of the strand exactly where you want it, and the brown cord keeps the look understated against dark wood furniture.
What color temperature or tone is the light — is it warm or cool?
These are clear incandescent bulbs, so the glow is a classic warm white with no greenish tint, which customers specifically love for cozy, lived-in spaces.
Will brown wire show through against white walls or light-colored shelves?
On light backgrounds the cord will be more visible, but it reads as a natural, neutral line rather than the obvious green of standard Christmas wire — many customers find it acceptable on white shelving and even prefer the organic look.
Can I wrap these around a faux fireplace log setup to simulate a fire?
Yes, this is a popular use — the warm glow and short 5-foot length work well for wrapping a few decorative logs in a rarely-used fireplace for a cozy focal point.
How does this compare to fairy lights on copper wire for home decor?
Copper wire fairy lights are typically battery-operated and shorter, while these plug-in strands offer a steadier, brighter warm glow with a UL safety listing and the ability to connect up to 22 sets for larger displays.
Will the spacing between bulbs look right on a 6-foot shelf or mantel?
With 3-inch bulb spacing across 5 feet of lighted length, the 20-bulb version creates even, balanced light distribution that works well for mantels, shelves, and staircase accents without dark gaps.
I am worried these will look too "Christmas-y" for year-round home use — are they versatile enough?
Customers commonly use these year-round on shelves, around houseplants, across curtain rods as a nightlight, and behind TVs — the warm tone and brown wire read as ambient decor rather than strictly holiday.
Will 20 bulbs be too dim for a large living room centerpiece?
For a single strand in a large room, 20 bulbs gives a subtle accent glow rather than a primary light source — that is by design for cozy ambiance — but you can connect up to 22 sets end-to-end if you want more coverage.
I do not want lights that look cheap or plasticky in a styled room — do these look high-end?
The brown wire, mini bulb size, and warm incandescent tone are deliberately chosen for decor-forward projects, and customers frequently comment that the strand looks intentional and well-made rather than like a typical big-box string light.
Do these photograph well for styled home decor or Instagram-worthy vignettes?
Yes, the warm glow, brown cord, and balanced bulb spacing are popular with content creators and home stylists for photographing cozy shelf and mantel scenes without the harsh green tint of LED Christmas lights.
How visible is the plug and lead cord — will it ruin my clean look?
The 1-foot lead from the plug to the first bulb is brown to match the strand, and customers typically route it behind furniture, along baseboards, or down the back of a mantel to keep the visible portion looking clean.
How do I connect multiple strands end-to-end?
Each strand has a male/female end connector on the single plug end — simply plug the male connector of one strand into the female connector of the next. You can connect up to 22 sets (max 216W combined load) on a single outlet.
Can I replace individual bulbs if one burns out?
Yes — these strands are commonly used as donor/replacement sources for prelit Christmas trees and garlands. Replacement mini bulbs of the same voltage can be swapped in, and the rest of the strand will continue to work even if one bulb is out.
Can I use these outdoors or in a covered porch?
No — this product is UL approved for indoor use only. For outdoor or covered-porch applications you would need a strand specifically rated for outdoor or wet-location use.
Will these work with my existing prelit tree or garland as a replacement strand?
Yes, this is one of the most common uses — the 20-bulb mini incandescent strand matches the bulb type, spacing, and voltage of most prelit trees and garlands, and the brown wire is a popular upgrade for anyone replacing a burnt-out section.
What is the difference between the 20-bulb and 35-bulb versions?
The 20-bulb version has a 5-foot lighted length with 6-foot total length, and the 35-bulb version has a 9-foot lighted length with 10-foot total length — both use the same brown wire, mini incandescent bulbs, and end-to-end connector, so you can mix versions on the same chain up to the 216W limit.
What is in the box when I order this?
You will receive one strand of 20 (or 35) clear incandescent mini bulbs pre-strung on brown wire with a 1-foot lead and an end-to-end connector — no bulbs, batteries, or extra accessories are required, and the strand is ready to plug in and use immediately.
Are incandescent mini bulbs dimmer than LED mini lights?
Incandescent bulbs produce a softer, warmer glow than typical LEDs, and use more energy per bulb — but the trade-off is the warm tone, no green or blue tint, and the classic look that many decorators prefer, especially for craft projects and vintage-style decor.
How long do incandescent mini bulbs typically last?
Customers report using these strands for multiple holiday seasons without issues — incandescent mini bulbs are rated for thousands of hours of use, and because the strand is connectable and bulbs are individually replaceable, the strand can be maintained for years rather than thrown out at the first failure.
What is the difference between brown wire string lights and copper wire fairy lights?
Brown wire string lights are plug-in, UL listed, incandescent, and end-to-end connectable for larger displays, while copper wire fairy lights are typically battery-operated, shorter, and used for delicate crafts — the brown wire is also more visible than ultra-thin copper but far more discreet than standard green Christmas wire.
